Armed robbery awareness training

This week, Police from the Gateway Crime Prevention office attended the SmartClinics Taigum medical centre to provide training to staff on armed robbery prevention and awareness.
Police discussed a number of proactive strategies and answered the many questions staff had.

Many of the strategies discussed can be found in the Armed Robbery Prevention booklet.
Police understand that an armed robbery could have a significant impact on the health, safety and welfare of staff and customers and encourage all businesses to have security and armed robbery procedures in place.
The Crime Prevention office is able to assist by providing training on topics such as:

Armed Robbery Awareness;
Personal Safety Strategies; and
Business Security.
