Police are seeking witnesses following the armed robbery of a man in Chermside this evening.
At around 6.30pm a 51-year-old man exited a bus and was walking along Farnell Street when he was approached by another man who produced a knife and demanded his phone and wallet.
The victim complied, and the man left along Farnell Street before turning onto Hamilton Road.
The man is described as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his late teens to early twenties with a medium build.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have been driving in the vicinity at the time of the incident near the intersection of Hamilton and Webster Road and may have dashcam vision to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
