Detectives are investigating following an armed robbery at a shopping centre at Chermside this morning.
Initial investigations indicate about 11.15am a man entered the discount store at the corner of Gympie and Hamilton roads with a knife and demanded money from a staff member.
The man then left the store a short time later with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Detectives are appealing for any information that might help identify a man (pictured) who may be able to assist police with their inquiries.
Investigations are continuing.
