Police are investigating the armed robbery of a takeaway food store in Ferny Grove last night.
Around 10.25pm a man entered the business on McGinn Road armed with a large knife and made threats towards a 35-year-old female employee, demanding money.
The employee complied and the man fled the store with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 182cm tall with a proportionate build and was wearing a light grey hooded jumper, dark shorts, blue sunglasses and sneakers.
