Assault North Lakes/Mango Hill

Police are seeking help from the public after a woman was grabbed by a man at Mango Hill on Sunday, November 18.
Around 5.15pm, a 20-year-old woman was walking on Halpine Drive, towards Freshwater Creek Road, when a blue car stopped near her.
A man got out of the front passenger seat and approached the woman. He yelled ‘hey’ and grabbed her by the wrist.
The man is described as caucasion, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 185cm tall, skinny build, wearing a black shirt and dark blue shorts.
A man, passing by on a bicycle, intervened and the man ran back to the car which was last seen turning left into Freshwater Creek Road.
The woman was not physically injured during the incident.
Police are particularly interested to speak with the man on the bicycle who assisted the woman.
Police are encouraging people who were in the area around 5pm on Sunday to report anything suspicious
