Appeal for witnesses, Red Hill

Police are continuing to investigate a traffic crash that occurred this morning in Red Hill.
Around 8.15am, a motorcycle was travelling on Waterworks Road when it was struck by a silver Holden Commodore station wagon coming out of Mornington Street.
As a result of the impact the rider, a 20-year-old man, was thrown from the motorcycle and landed heavily on the road.
The vehicle then accelerated away turning left into Glenrosa Road turning right into Haughton Street and stopping on Murray Street where the driver fled the scene.
The rider was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with suspected broken arms and internal injuries.
Officers are appealing to anyone that may have been travelling in the area at the time and has dashcam or witnessed anything to contact them.
Investigations are continuing.

Sexual assault charges, Toombul

Police are appealing for other victims to contact them after a man has been charged with an alleged sexual assault at a train station this afternoon.
It will be alleged around 4.40pm a man has inappropriately touched a woman whist she was waiting for a train at Toombul Station.
A 22-year-old Morayfield man has been charged with one count of sexual assault. He is expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 28.
Police would like to speak with any other victims, in particular two women who were approached by the man on the platform around 4.30pm today.
