Calling any witnesses, traffic crash July 19
Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed a traffic crash that occurred on Wednesday July 19.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:45pm at the intersection of Rode Road and Trouts Road, McDowall.
A small green Mazda 121 wagon was travelling west on Rode Road when an unknown red hatch vehicle with a female driver entered Rode Road from Trouts Road in a northerly direction.
The green Mazda has applied its brakes and locked up running into side of the red hatch. The red hatch has stopped and then taken off in a northerly direction on Trouts Road.
No injuries were sustained during this incident.
Police are seeking any witnesses to try and identify the driver of the red hatch who failed to remain at scene and exchange details.

Update: ATM burglaries, Brisbane
Detectives investigating a series of burglaries at ATMs in shopping centres across Brisbane’s north over the past six months are stepping up their appeal for public assistance.
Between January 15 and June 22, four ATMs were targeted in sophisticated early morning break-ins.
On three occasions, a significant quantity of cash was stolen from the ATMs.
Detectives from Carseldine CIB and Petrie CIB with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Serious Crime Group have set up Operation Papa Dodgeball to investigate the linked incidents which occurred in the following order:
• January 15, 2017 – around 4.30am, thieves unsuccessfully try to break into an ATM at an Albany Creek shopping centre.
• January 21, 2017 – around 2am, an ATM is targeted when thieves break through a roof at a shopping strip on Sandgate Road in Boondall.
• March 12, 2017 – at 3am, thieves break into an ATM at an Everton Park shopping centre on
Appeal for public assistance, Chermside
Carseldine detectives investigating an act of inappropriate behaviour at Chermside on May 30 are appealing to the public to help identify a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
At about 4.30pm at a shopping centre on Hamilton Road, a man has acted inappropriately towards a woman who was shopping in the centre.
Detectives have released pictures of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Any members of the public who know this man or have information of his whereabouts are asked to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
