Armed robbery, Kallangur

Detectives are investigating following the armed robbery of a convenience store in Kallangur tonight.
Initial investigations indicate at around 7:20pm a man entered the store on Marsden Road and produced a knife.
The man demanded cash and cigarettes from staff members before fleeing the business.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as approximately 175cm tall, of a slim build and aged in his 20s.

Drugs and weapons arrest, Brighton

Police have charged a man overnight after the alleged discovery of illicit drugs, weapons and cash in Brighton yesterday.
Shortly before midday, officers were called following a disturbance at a Beaconsfield Terrace address.
During investigations police located a quantity of methylamphetmines, cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
Also located were three Tasers disguised as mobile phones and a quantity of cash.
A 29-year-old Brighton man has been charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possess utensils, possession of property suspected of being proceeds under the Drugs Misuse Act, unlawful possession of a controlled drug, unlawful possession of a weapon Category D/H/R and contravention of a Domestic Violence order.
He is expected to appear in the Sandgate Magistrates Court on July 17.

Robbery with violence, Brisbane

Police have charged four teenage girls following an investigation into a robbery outside a fast-food restaurant in Brisbane City last night.
It will be alleged at around 11.45pm, a teenage girl approached a 23-year-old woman on Queen Street and made requests to use her phone.
The woman complied and when she asked for it back, three teenage girls allegedly pushed the woman and threatened her with a knife before fleeing.
All four teenage girls were located outside a convenience store on Edward Street and were taken to a nearby police station.
Four teenage girls from Woodridge, Kingston, Logan and Manly West have been charged with robbery with violence.
