Serious traffic crash, Mount Nebo
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred at Mount Nebo overnight.
Preliminary inquiries indicate just after 12am for unknown reasons, a vehicle has left Mount Nebo Road and crashed.
The driver and passenger were trapped in the car for some time before emergency services were able to free them.
The two men have been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Investigations are continuing.

Armed robbery charges, Kallangur
A man has been charged following two alleged armed robberies at Kallangur yesterday.
It will be alleged that around 4.40pm, a man went into a takeaway shop on Anzac Avenue, approached a young female employee and ordered food.
As the employee began to prepare the order, the man allegedly went behind the counter, picked up a knife and threatened her, demanding money.
The employee complied and the man fled the premises with a sum of cash.
It will be further alleged at around 6.30pm the same man entered a licenced premise on Anzac Avenue, approached the counter and demanded money from the male store attendant.
The man allegedly indicated he had a weapon concealed under his jumper and threatened the attendant.
The store attendant complied and the man left the business with a sum of cash.
