Attempted armed robbery, Strathpine
Police are investigating after a man threatened staff at a convenience store at Strathpine this afternoon.
Initial inquiries indicate a man attended the Gympie Road business around 3pm. The man produced a knife and threatened a staff member, demanding money.
The female staff member ran to a back storeroom and locked the door.
The man then left the store without getting any money.
Police are appealing for anyone who has dashcam or cctv vision of the area around 3pm to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
