Murder charge, Stafford Heights
Detectives have charged a 68-year-old man with murder following the death of a 69-year-old woman at a residence in Stafford Heights.
Police were called to the Remick Street address around 9.20am this morning where they located the woman deceased inside the house.
It will be alleged the woman had sustained multiple stab wounds.
The 68-year-old Stafford Heights man, who was known to the woman, was arrested at the scene.
He has been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday, May 1.
