Sandgate is one of the most beautiful places in Brisbane but unfortunately there is no place that domestic and family violence does not raise its ugly head.
Police Officers from Sandgate Station came out in the Community to pledge ‘Do something’ campaign.
This year the Department of Communities are asking everyday Queenslanders to be part of the solution to STOP Domestic and Family Violence in our Community and not be a bystander.
Domestic and family violence won’t go away by itself – it needs our intervention to break the cycle.
If you are or know someone who may be experiencing domestic and family violence then please contact DVConnect 1800 811 811, Mensline 1800 600 636. In an emergency call 000.
If you have information for police, contact Policelink on 131 444 or provide information using the online form 24hrs per day.
You can report information about crime anonymously to Crime Stoppers, a registered charity and community
