Next week, the job of being a Police Officer will be showcased to the next generation of potential recruits who will be with us on our work experience program.
For many years, the North Brisbane Crime Prevention Unit has played host to students from north of the river to give them a look behind the scenes of the different business units operating within the QPS, as well as the role of a Police Officer.
From handling a speed camera detection device, learning laboratory process and bearing witness to a holding cell – North Brisbane students will see it all!
Students taking part in the program have the opportunity to ask police questions and learn about the history of the QPS with a visit to the QPS museum where they will even try their hand at solving a mock crime!
As a final bonus, the work experience program includes a visit to the QPS Dog
