Did you know that most cases of elder abuse occur within family relationships?
Elder abuse can be perpetrated in various forms — physical, emotional/psychological, financial, sexual abuse, or neglect.

Send in the bikes from Hendra Station!

Police from Hendra Station have recently obtained bicycles and have incorporated regular bicycle patrols as a part of their dedication to new and efficient approaches to preventing, disrupting and investigating crime.
Officers involved in these patrols have undergone a specific skills training course for these deployments.
Bicycle patrols are a tried and true policing technique that allows police to better access and observe public spaces.
Offenders who commit offences are generally not looking for officers on bikes – they are concerned with marked and unmarked patrol vehicles.
Officers on bicycles often report about having the ability when on bike to approach a crime in progress, unnoticed or unrecognised by the offenders until the very last moment.
