Well another year has passed and North Brisbane Police joined in on McHappy Day celebrations on November 17! McHappy Day is a day where McDonalds stores come together with fundraisers to donate to the Ronald McDonald house for sick children in hospital.
Officers from Carseldine, Boondall and Sandgate Stations passed over loads of tasty treats to the young and old, all in the hope of making a difference by supporting a worthwhile cause.
McDonald’s Bracken Ridge and Virginia store welcome police 365 days of the year and this was one day police were able to return the favour and make a difference to the lives of sick children from across Queensland.
We look forward to being able to celebrate again next year and thanks McDonald’s for fuelling our officers working early starts and late finishes.
I think I will head over to see their friendly faces and grab a coffee right now!
