Queensland man jailed for killing ex's new lover

A man who drove his ute into a house and then stabbed his ex-partner’s new lover to death in a fit of jealous rage told police he was glad he did it, a court has heard.

The Brisbane Supreme Court heard John William Francis, 53, killed Bruce Monaghan, 50, in the front yard of the victim’s rural home at Delaneys Creek, north of Brisbane, in April 2015.
