Police have charged four people with drug trafficking following the closure of an operation targeting a syndicate involved in the the alleged production and distribution of $6.5 million of cannabis in Queeensland.
Operation Quebec Walkover was a six-month operation involving investigators from the Drug and Serious Crime Group, State Crime Command.
Detectives charged four people, two women and two man, who police allege were involved in the organised production and trafficking of over 1.1 tonnes of cannabis, with an estimated street value of $6.5 million between Melbourne and Brisbane from 2016 to 2018.
