Crime prevention is a unique role within the Queensland police service (QPS) where we get to engage, educate and liaise with community and businesses to achieve a safer community for all.
Crime prevention Sergeant, Vicki Campbell, of the Fortitude Valley Division is leaving the QPS after serving over 23 years as a police office.
Throughout her career, Sergeant Campbell spent time in Port Douglas before moving to Brisbane where she has made a positive impact and difference to young people and the community.
Vicki, you will be sorely missed by your friends and colleagues – your friendly face around the station will be missed and you leave mighty big shoes to be filled!
Vicki spent her last day with colleagues at a lovely morning tea where she was awarded a plague displaying her contribution as a police officer to the state of Queensland.
Good luck in your new role Vicki, we’ll miss you!
