Nundah

Brisbane’s favourite suburban street party is gearing up for an action-packed weekend as Nundah rolls out the red carpet for thousands of festival-goers.

Street Culture and Local Talent

What makes a suburb truly feel like home? For Nundah, it is the sound of hundreds of school performers, roving street artists, and musicians echoing down Sandgate Road. Two dedicated stages will amplify local sounds while crowds browse through artisanal market stalls and community group displays.

Families can take advantage of amusement rides alongside a diverse selection of food trucks representing local culinary flavours. Organisers note that the gathering relies entirely on the dedication of local volunteers, backed by community partners and the Brisbane City Council.

Festivities extend beyond a single day, kicking off earlier in the week with a community outdoor movie night. Families can set up blankets for pre-film activities before a feature screening under the stars. Art enthusiasts also have plenty to look forward to with a regional art exhibition running concurrently, highlighting local talent across landscape, portraiture, contemporary, and still life categories.
