From Ferny Grove all the way to Mornington Island

This is the story of Constable Windsor Suen. Constable Suen was sworn into service in September 2017 and has just finished his year as a First Year Constable, during which he received a great introduction to the Service from Ferny Grove Station.
Previously a PE Teacher and then a warehouse manager, Constable Suen said he always had an interest in policing which began during high school, but only pursued the career of a police officer in 2016.
In January 2017, Constable Suen started at the Queensland Police Service Academy at Oxley in the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) program. The CALD program is a 10 week course which prepares those who come from non-English speaking backgrounds, for entry into the QPS recruit program.
Following a successful completion of this program, Constable Suen went on to complete the recruit program, however this is not when his story first began.
