Lock it or lose it, vehicles still a target in North Brisbane

Police are again urging residents to be vigilant with the security of their vehicles after several recent unlawful entries to motor vehicles in North Brisbane.
Opportunistic thieves are targeting cars left unlocked, parked in driveways, secured car parks, carports and on the road.
In many cases, victims have left valuable items in the car. Thieves are walking away with mobile phones, wallets, computers, work bags and tools. Police are increasing patrols in the area, but strongly urge all residents to remove valuables and lock up their cars at all times.
Simply parking your car in your driveway or garage is no deterrent. We need you to lock and secure your car at all times.
Remember:

Remove temptation – always lock doors and close windows when your vehicle is unattended; and
NEVER leave valuables in your vehicle.
