Officers spend the day with kindergarten kids

Northside police had a great time visiting the boys and girls at C&K Banyo Kindergarten last Friday to talk about what police officers do and how they can help.
Constable Vicki and Constable Toni spoke to the children about how they can identify police officers in by looking for their uniform and police badges.
The children were taught all about how police can help them, about the different roles of police and were even able to try on different uniforms and be police recruits for the day.
The kids were excited to see a police vehicle in the centre and they all took turns sitting in the car and speaking into the loud speaker.
The flashing red and blue lights and the loud siren noises were particularly popular!
Police often visit kindergartens and childcare centres to educate children at a young age about the importance of police, what police can do to help and how
