Rival House fitness gym located in Kedron once again took on the challenge to not be a ‘Bystander’ and ‘Do Something’ about Domestic and Family Violence.
On the last occasion the group raised several hundred dollars in a 80’s Friday night dress up, all donated to DV awareness.
On this occasion Trent, one of the owners of Rival fitness decided to take the initiative to shave off his beard as a fund raiser.

On the evening Sergeant Brett Vickers from North Brisbane District Domestic and Family Violence Unit attended and addressed the crowd about this topic.
Special guest was Jade McDonald who is a survivor of Domestic violence at the hands of her ex boyfriend.
“It’s okay to tell somebody,” Jade said.
“It’s not something that is embarassing, your life could be in danger.”
