Nundah Median House Price Makes Significant Increase, Hits $755,000

The REIQ recently released its latest housing market statistics which showed Nundah median house price has risen to $755,000, up 11.9% over the last 12 months and 26.4% over the last 5 years. In the 2nd quarter of 2018, there were 13 homes sold in the suburb.

“It is my current experience that the real estate market in Nundah is going from strength to strength,” says Chrese Morley a Nundah-focused real estate agent from Harcourts.

“Buyer demand is strong for good quality properties in and around the hub of the Nundah Urban Village. It is exciting to witness the excellent buyer numbers, which go into the dozens, turning out at my weekly open homes.  In particular, the townhouse market is surging with professional couples and downsizing couples actively seeking to purchase quality townhomes in the area.


“I recently sold a number of townhouses at 132 Nellie St Nundah which only 4 years ago sold for $539,000 with some re-sales at $795,000 and even as high as $820,000.

“It is incredible to see how swiftly Nundah property is transacting with average days on market of 50 days.  This in itself is an exceptional number considering the number of off the plan sales that are being completed for new construction in the area which can take more than a year to complete.”
