Police have revoked an emergency situation under the Public Safety Preservation Act following an incident in Windsor this morning.
At around 4:00am police attended a unit complex on Newmarket Road following a noise complaint.
The emergency declaration was made at 5:57am after the man, who was armed with a replica handgun, refused to leave the building.
The emergency situation was revoked at 8:43am after a 42-year-old man was taken into custody by officers at 8:08am.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
The exclusion zone has been lifted and all roads are now open.
Investigations are continuing.
