QPS 2018 Domestic and Family Violence Liaison Officer – Winner!

Last week, the 2018 Queensland Police Service, Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Awards were held in Brisbane.
One of the categories was ‘Station – Domestic and Family Violence Liaison officer (DFVLO)’, with the award going to an officer demonstrating commitment to improving policing responses to domestic and family violence within their division.
Senior Constable Belinda Baker was the winner of the 2018 Qld Police Station Domestic and Family Violence Officer!
The Commissioner of Police Ian Stewart and Corrine McMillan MP, State member for Mansfield, representing the Minister for Police, presented this prestigious award to Senior Constable Baker for her dedication and outstanding work in this area.
Senior Constable Baker is a general duties officer based at Sandgate Police Station and has also chosen to take on the portfolio as Station DFVLO for the past four years.
She is an extremely dedicated and compassionate officer whose goal is always keeping people safe.
