On the last Sunday of July, the Sandgate community get together for the annual Einbunpin Festival.
Since 1992, the Einbunpin Festival is a celebration by and for the community about those things that make the Sandgate district special – the village atmosphere, the environment and the diverse talents and cultures that make up the community.
This year, Gateway Crime Prevention staff enjoyed a perfect day of gorgeous weather with thousands of other local Sandgaterians.
The Einbunpin Festival continues to provide an opportunity for the community to come together and show-off the vibrancy and artistic talents found in the district.
It’s a great chance to learn more about our local community, and catch up with friends.
Staff from Gateway Crime Prevention Unit handed out information on home and vehicle security, personal safety, online safety, and were able to answer many questions that the locals had.
