What a day out to those who came to the anti-theft screw event held at Sandgate on Saturday July 20.
Over 70 local residents responded to the call out to have their number plates secured with anti-theft screws.
Sergeant Jodie Murray and Senior Constable Vikki Christensen secured these complimentary screws to the vehicles, ensuring the number plates which belong to your car, stay on your car.
Police encourage fitting anti-theft screws to deter would-be thieves from gaining access to number plates.
Thanks to the community for the positive feedback on the day.
To anyone who may have missed out this round, please drop in to any North Brisbane Police Station front counter to grab your own four screws to attach to your own car or business car (or grab as many as you think you might need).
