Serious assault, Queen Street

Police are appealing for members of the public to come forward who may have witnessed an elderly man allegedly being assaulted in the Queen Street Mall on Friday, April 12.
At about 1pm police will allege a 42-year-old man walked past an 81-year-old man in the Queen Street Mall, grabbed him by his shoulders and threw him to the ground.
The two men were not known to each other.
The 81-year-old sustained lacerations to his right elbow.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and to contact police.
A 42-year-old Forest Lake man has been charged with serious assault of a person over 60.
He will appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 28.
