A man is in a critical condition following a traffic incident involving a car and pedestrian in Chermside this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations suggest at 3pm, the 22-year-old man was crossing the northbound lanes of Gympie Road when he was hit by a vehicle.
The man has been transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Motorists are being advised to expect delays.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
