Community service workers have helped create beautiful children’s clothing from repurposed police uniforms through the Uniform 4 Kids initiative.
Uniform 4 Kids is an inspirational program which transforms uniforms once worn by police officers and other public safety agencies into beautiful children’s clothing.
The clothing is then provided to vulnerable families in the community.
Uniforms 4 Kids is now getting a helping hand from community service workers on Brisbane’s north side.
The community service workers teamed up with Uniforms 4 Kids and delivered their first consignment of clothing to the North Brisbane District Vulnerable Persons and Domestic Violence Unit (VPU) on Friday, August 23.
This is an amazing partnership between the Queensland Police Service, VPU and Queensland Corrective Services.
