With spring school holidays comes an extra volume of Queensland road users getting behind the wheel.

Minister for Police and Minister for Corrective Services, the Honourable Mark Ryan MP joined Assistant Commissioner Mike Keating of Road Policing Command to officially launch this year’s Operation Spring Break.
The Operation will once again focus on safe driving behaviour throughout the school holiday period.
Assistant Commissioner John Cawcutt represented Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Acting Assistant Commissioner Matthew Green attended on behalf of Queensland Ambulance Service, as the operation will see emergency services working together to promote the safety of all Queensland road users.
Assistant Commissioner Keating said the state-wide effort at this time of year would encourage motorists to continue to take care.
