Go Metal and Rock for West Papua at Nundah’s Prince of Wales Hotel

Support the indigenous people of West Papua through the “Rockin’ for West Papua” event at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Rockin’ for West Papua is a global movement concert that raises awareness about West Papua. This global event started last year and all of the funds raised went to the Free West Papua Campaign.

Believing that music is a weapon, different countries around the world have expressed support for this worldwide concert movement. In Australia, Rockin’ for West Papua gigs will be celebrated at Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, Canberra, Warnambool, Castlemaine, and Nundah, Brisbane.

New Clear Vision

Specialising in Nu Metal Genre, New Clear Vision will rock your night away. Band members Brad Bromfield, Adam Kane, Shannon Wells, CJ Nash, and Matt McPherson are fusing some frenetic drumming, guitar riffs, and vocals that will bring metal into your system.

 

Bitter Lungs

Set Time: 10:15 p.m.

The Bitter Lungs will keep your head banging with their favourite hits from their digital album, including 3 AM and Parasite. The five-piece rock band will be playing their signature punk and hardcore music.

 

Kold Creature

South of Brisbane is the home of the Kold Creature band. This is not just your typical headbanging rock band. Since 2013, Kold has been playing original Melodic and Groove Metal Music that is also soulful.

 

Kobrakai

Set Time: 8:45 p.m.

Kobrakai focuses on both introspective and altruistic pieces. Band members Phyl, Neil, and Dave will use the rhythm of different metal pieces to prove that music is a weapon to awareness.

 

Charlie Rebel

Hailing from the Gold Coast, Charlie Rebel is a collaboration of the Torr brothers, Nick and Chris. They have been active in the Australian music industry for the past six years and have been performing under renowned Australian producer, Guy Cooper, after a series of successful gigs.
