Police are continuing to investigate the death of a man in Petrie on Friday, Detective Superintendent Tony Fleming said today.
Detectives have spoken to a number of witnesses over the last few days, including some who were present in the unit on Young Street at the time the man was allegedly shot, as well as others who were nearby.
“As part of our investigation, we have today released the image of a woman who we believe may be able to assist us with our enquiries,” Detective Superintendent Fleming said.
“We want to hear her version of events and ask that she contact police as soon as possible – either by coming into a police station or through Crime Stoppers or Policelink.
“We are also asking anyone who may know where she is to come forward.”
A 24-year-old man was located with a bullet wound to his chest shortly after midnight on Friday morning.
