Police have revoked an emergency declaration made at Auchenflower with two men taken into custody at a unit complex this afternoon.
Shortly after 11am, officers were attending a Coronation Drive unit to arrest two men when a firearm was discharged from inside the unit.
No one was injured during the incident.
An emergency situation was declared under the provisions of the Public Safety Preservation Act with police setting up a cordon and closing nearby streets.
Around 4.40pm, two men aged 33 and 29 were taken into custody at the scene without further incident and are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Police seized several firearms from the unit.
The declaration was subsequently revoked with all roads, including Coronation Drive, reopening.
