Police have charged a 26-year-old man following investigations into the serious assault of a man in Sandgate on July 15.
It will be alleged at 12.10pm, a 44-year-old Shorncliffe man was assaulted at a fast food restaurant on Rainbow Street.
As a result of the assault the man was transported to Redcliffe Hospital for treatment of serious facial and head injuries.
A 26-year-old Bahrs Scrub man is scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 28 charged with grievous bodily harm.
