A 22-year-old Stafford Heights man critically injured after being struck by a car at Chermside on July 31 passed away in hospital last night.
Preliminary investigations indicate the man was crossing the northbound lanes of Gympie Road around 3pm when he was hit by a vehicle.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
The driver, a 46-year-old woman was not physically injured.
