Police investigating a serious traffic crash in Chermside last week which claimed the life of a woman, are continuing to appeal for witnesses and for dash cam footage of the area.
At around 3.45pm, a black BMW travelling westbound on Hamilton Road collided with another car which was leaving the driveway of a hospital.
The driver of one of the cars, a 52-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a critical condition where she later died.
A 24-year-old woman, who was initially believed to be a driver in the crash, has since had a charge against her of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, withdrawn.
A 29-year-old man is currently assisting police with inquiries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
