Vehicle security reminder for Bracken Ridge residents

Two boys have been charged after a number of vehicles were broken into in Bracken Ridge on Wednesday night.
Police were contacted after a resident observed two boys entering a vehicle in Bungowla Street.
Local police, with the assistance of the Dog Squad, were able to locate the two boys nearby.
Further inquires revelled a number of vehicles were entered in Bungowla and Kironan Streets in Bracken Ridge, with various items stolen, including a set of keys.
A 15-year-old Redcliffe boy has been charged with six counts of break and enter, one count of attempted break and enter and one count of obstruct a police officer.
A 17-year-old Redcliffe boy has been charged with five counts of break and enter, one count of attempted break and enter and one count of possessing dangerous drugs.
Both boys will be dealt with under provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
