Every quarter, women from multiple nationalities and backgrounds – many of them refugees – gather together for to laugh, dance, mingle, eat delicious food, and share an afternoon together at the ‘Worldly Women’ events held at the Zillmere PCYC.
On Saturday May 11, the women celebrated with the theme of Mother’s Day.
Beautiful fresh flower corsages were made, many bellies jiggled whilst learning how to belly dance, and great prizes were won by many of the women attending.
The QPS is proud to partner with the many community groups to support this ongoing event.
