Brisbane North Officers attend ACU market day at Banyo

Police and Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) from the North Brisbane District spent this morning, February 26, with students and teachers from the Australian Catholic University at Banyo.
The morning’s event was a market day and an opportunity for the university to showcase support services both internal and external, available to students and the QPS was proud to attend this market day.
We were able to take our “Beer Goggles” along with us, to demonstrate the different effects of alcohol on concentration, balance and fine motor skills.
The goggles were an eye opening (pun intended) experience for most and hopefully a memorable lesson in the fight against drink driving.
Thanks ACU – we had a lovely morning with you all!

Spread the love
