Police from North Brisbane Crime Prevention Office have re-commenced with their monthly “Coffee With A Cop” events at Taigum Shopping Centre after a couple of months break with the strict COVID restrictions.

These events provide a unique opportunity for members from the local area to ask police any questions they have and discuss any local concerns…. all whilst enjoying a cuppa!
It was fantastic to see that everyone was complying with the social distancing rules, maintaining the 1.5 meters distance, and utilising alternatives to the traditional handshake greetings.

The next scheduled “Coffee With A Cop” event at Taigum will be on Wednesday September 16 at 10am, and then every third Wednesday of each month.
It was wonderful to have the “Uniforms4Kids” display there, the Police Liaison Officers (PLO), and the Volunteers
