CWAQ support police to provide comfort for children in need

The generous members of the Sandgate Country Womens Association Queensland  (CWAQ), have been busy using their craft skills to support local children in need.
The group regularly make teddy bears, blankets and soft toys which are then delivered to local Police Stations and are then distributed to children who come into contact with Police.  The toys are a way that police can break down barriers with the children and provide them comfort during a potentially scary or confronting experience.

The latest delivery of  goodies will be distributed to the North Brisbane Vulnerable Persons and Domestic Violence Unit, whose officers will then share the toys with children of families they are engaging with.
