Drugs and weapons charges, Clear Mountain

Two people have been charged after police uncovered dangerous drugs, cash and weapons during the search of a Clear Mountain residence yesterday.
A search warrant was executed at the Clear Mountain Road address around 10am on October 20, during which it will be alleged officers located more than 12 thousand dollars in cash as well as methylamphetamine, a silencer and a device similar to a taser.
Police also located chemicals including a large quantity of iodine and hydrochloric acid.
A 30-year-old Clear Mountain man and a 33-year-old Eatons Hill woman were taken into custody at the scene.
The man has been charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of possessing dangerous weapons and one count each of possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, possessing anything used in the commission of crime, possess utensils, possessing relevant substances and possessing property suspected of being
