An alleged serial speedster has had his motorcycle seized and will have to front court following a Road Policing Task Force investigation into a series of traffic offences in Bald Hills this year.
Investigations commenced in January after a motorcycle was detected by an unmanned speed camera travelling over the speed limit on the Gympie Arterial Road on a number of separate occasions.
It will be alleged the motorcycle failed to display registered number plates when it was detected exceeding the 100km/h speed limit a total of 10 times on the following dates:
• January 1 at 1.19am – 135km/h
• January 5 at 4.56pm – 128km/h
• January 6 at 4.06am – 123km/h and allegedly performing a “wheel stand”
• January 7 at 9.57am – 127km/h
• January 8 at 3.24pm – 136km/h
• January 8 at 8.14pm – 145km/h
• January 11 at 7.17pm – 135km/h
