Today, I attended Earnshaw State College in Banyo where I delivered a ThinkUKnow police presentation to a class of Year 12 students to educate them regarding online safety and being aware of the content they create and share with each other.
It was great to meet the students from Earnshaw State College to talk about online safety
This was a great opportunity to meet some young local people and chat about some important information that everyone should keep in mind when they go online.
ThinkUKnow was started in the United Kingdom by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) and was developed for Australian audiences by the Australia Federal Police in 2009.
The program is a partnership between the Australian Federal Police, Microsoft Australia, Datacom and the Commonwealth Bank, and is delivered in collaboration with New South Wales Police Force, Northern Territory Police, Queensland Police Service, South Australia Police, Tasmania Police, Western Australia
