Officers from the Fortitude Valley Tactical Crime Squad have charged a 25-year-old Zillmere man with a number of property related offences.
On Monday, May 4, police were conducting proactive patrols within the Nundah area when they observed the man allegedly loitering outside of a unit block in the vicinity of York Street.
It will be alleged that the man attempted to hide under stairs before running from Police.
After a short foot chase the man was arrested by police and was allegedly found to be in possession of a glass pipe, several bankcards in multiple persons names, bolt cutters and numerous break implements and jewellery.
As a result of the interception the man was charged with the following offences:
2 x Enter premises and commit
1 x Stealing
1 x Possession of a knife
1 x Possession of a utensil
1 x Break implements
1 x Tainted property
11 x breach bail
3 x Obstruct police
