Officers from Stafford Police Station joined local community members from the Lutwyche Islamic Association to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr festival on Sunday, June 25.
The ‘Eid Festival’ is an annual event held by the Lutwyche Mosque located on Fuller Street, Lutwyche.
The ‘Eid Festival’ is one of two festivals celebrated in the Muslim faith each year in celebration of the end of Ramadan.
Stafford police officers attended the event with other specialist police units including the Mounted Unit to support ongoing strong collaborative partnerships with the Lutwyche Mosque and all sectors of the community.
Thanks to the Lutwyche Mosque for inviting us to share in the celebration of this special event.
