On Sunday November 17, it will be all hands will be on deck as Hendra Police host a community event at the Nudgee Boat Ramp, focused on summer safety.
With the generous support of many partner agencies and fellow officers, the morning should be a great outing for the whole family and our aim is to share information about water safety, summer preparedness, vessel safety, vehicle and personal safety.
Experts will be on hand to answer questions to help get your home and or vessel in ship shape condition for a safe summer. Fresh coffee and a yummy sausage sizzle will be available thanks to Leanne Linnard MP.
So cast away any other plans and come join officers from the QPS including the Water Police and Dive Squad units, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, SES and Volunteer Marine Rescue, who will all have some oarsome displays on hand, along with shipmates from Brisbane City
