Officers from the North Brisbane Crime Prevention team and the Police Liaison Officers (PLOs) were honoured to be invited to the first official sit down meal at the Gaytatri Mandir Hindu Temple at Boondall.
The Gaytatri Mandri temple was established in Boondall in 1991, and has been serving the Hindu community ever since.

This establishment enables the Hindu community a central place to practice their faith, join together as a community, and share their philosophy, culture, languages. It is also a place to share a meal together.
It was fantastic to see that the full COVID-19 safe plan has been put in place that enables this community to recommence face-to-face connection, including the preparation and sharing of meals.
